First off, I don't know if it was in the manufacturing or packaging/shipping, but the chrome is scratched in several places. That said, the positing stats that these are chromed stainless steel. Since there is no rust, at least not yet, that may be the case.The weld where the square tube meets the wall mount is very nice. The cap on the other end is just tack welded in two places, so it doesn't look as nice, but then again, it isn't structural.The balls are evenly spaced. I haven't had any issues yet, so as far as I can tell, these seem to be good. I didn't use their hardware to anchor these to the wall, as I prefer to use my own fasteners, so I can't speak to the quality of the fasteners that are provided.If you are looking for wall mounted coat hooks, you should consider these.
